Dineke Griek graduated in Music Pedagogy, majoring in Tuba and Brass Leadership at the Music Pedagogy Academy in Leeuwaarden. She continued to study for Music Performance at the Sweelink Conservatoire in Amsterdam.

For several years, Dineke played tuba in the Orchetra of the Royal Airforce, as well as in the Quintet of the Royal Airforce. She did various international concert tours with these groups; to Canada, Italy, Curacao, France, and Germany.

Dineke has been a member of Orchestra de ereprijs since 1998. Besides this, she conducts several music societies. She is also involved with LobaLoba, a trio playing music from all over the world, all time – wonderland music.
